Christ Church United Methodist

A Reconciling Congregation

Contact Us:    303-322-0784

Office Hours:     Monday - Friday - 9:00am - 1:00pm

Christ Church is a United Methodist congregation in central Denver. Our faith community takes seriously both the heart and the mind as we nurture the spirit of God. You will find a community striving to be real: combining intellectual questions along with heart-felt experiences to seek wholeness in living. We believe you will be welcomed, loved, and embraced in authentic and vulnerable ways. We believe there is a unique place to find hope in the midst of a dark, chaotic, and challenging world -  at the corner of 7th and Colorado.

Our hope is that you will find here a Christian community of integrity that will challenge you and encourage you in your spiritual journey. We invite you to be part of the community we call church.

Our Advent Seasonal Planning Team created a special Advent Calendar for our community. Each week you are invited to learn, discuss, and take action on a social justice topic. Week 1: Food Justice; Week 2: Racism; Week 3: Homelessness; Week 4: Sanctuary. This pdf has clickable links to take you to additional learning opportunities. You can download the Advent Calendar here. Thank you to Charmaine Robledo and Alli Moore for creating this calendar.

Christmas Cantata

Mark your calendar now for the Christmas Cantata and Christmas Pageant Sunday, December 17th during worship. Our amazing Chancel Choir will be joined by strings, brass, and percussion. The children and youth Sunday School classes will each participate in their own way, helping to play the roles and narrate the story of the nativity.

Wanted: Cookies for Christmas Eve

At our Christmas Eve services we will again serve cookies and hot cocoa. This year, to be conscious of allergies, we are only serving store bought cookies. We expect approximately 350 guests between all the services, so we need lots of cookies! We are asking for donations of store bought cookies that have no nuts. Gluten free options are appreciated! Please contact Bobbie Quinn at or bring them to church, label and put them in the bin in the kitchen.
