Eric Strader

Seminary Intern

Eric is from Wichita, KS where he spent the last 6 years as Youth Director for a downtown, progressive United Methodist congregation. Eric has long felt the call for Ordained Ministry and moved to Denver to pursue his Masters of Divinity from Iliff School of Theology.

Eric is a life-long Methodist with a deep-rooted sense of the divine in life and faith. Eric believes we all walk with God daily, and should include others on our walk to learn, grow and become people who love others. Eric is excited to be at Christ Church and be in ministry with great people and great staff. He is excited to a part of the journey of faith with you.

Eric has a Bachelors of Science in Organizational Management and Leadership from Friends University. He is married to Amy Strader, also an Iliff student. They plan to return to Kansas upon graduation but several Colorado people are trying to persuade them to stay. They have a dog, Ladybug. Check out Eric’s turtles in his office, Cuff and Link.
