Eric Strader

Student Pastor

Eric is from Wichita, Kansas, where he spend the last 6 years as Youth Director for a progressive United Methodist congregation. Eric has long felt the call to Ordained Ministry in the local church. Eric and his wife Amy moved to Denver to both pursue Masters of Divinity degrees from Iliff School of Theology. 

Eric is a life-long Methodist with a deep-rooted sense of the divine in life and faith. Eric believes we all walk with God daily, and should include others on our walk to learn, grow and become people who love others. Eric is excited to be at Christ Church and be in ministry with great people and great staff. He is excited to a part of the journey of faith with you.

Eric has a Bachelors of Science in Organizational Management and Leadership from Friends University. He is married to Amy Strader, who works as the Children's Ministry Director at Lakewood United Methodist Church. They are members of the UMC Rocky Mountain Conference. They have a dog named Ladybug.
