What do you do at Christ Church?
As the Church Administrator and Event Coordinator. I manage the day to day operations of the church, communications with congregants and outside community, and create church publications like bulletins and weekly newsletters. I also handle all the scheduling for the many tenants, church and outside groups, and special events.
What brought you to Christ Church?
I started attending Christ Church as a young girl with my family then returned with a family of my own because of the warm and welcoming attitude of the church members. When the position of Church Administrator came available I wanted to take on the challenge of improving the quality of church communications and office organization.
If you could have one super power what would it be?
The super power I would want would be the ability to create clean drinking water for everyone on the planet and ensure everyone has access to healthy food.
Who is your social justice hero?
I admire the social justice work of Mother Teresa who looked at the poorest of the poor in Calcutta and knew someone needed to look past their dirty, diseased bodies to love and care for them as children of God.
What inspires you when the days get difficult?
When days get difficult I am usually inspired by the caring and love from my children and family.
